Who has that much time on their hands? And do they get paid for it, cuz I want to sign up! Great list.

How do the Star Wars movies not end up on the list? I think Alderaan blowing up would give A New Hope the highest movie body count ever until the demolition of the Earth in Hitchhiker's Guide.

It looks like they should call it "top 10 scifi movies with the highest body count... that we've counted so far." That's a lot of deaths, but I met there are some movies that are worse than Equilibrium. Also, was it really only 77 in Children of Men? It seemed like a lot more.

Equilibrium is a truly awful film. It shouldn't be top of any list.

The deaths in Children of Men were far more relevant to the viewer than anonymous stormtroopers or faceless extras of Equilibrium (which is over-rated, agreed).

Silly, didn't you read the interviews? Children of Men wasn't a science fiction film. 'Cause those are embarrassing. :-P

Does body mean only human bodies or were alien bodies counted too?
