Sci-Fi and Ani-Mondays

From the folks over at Forever Geek, we have news that the Sci-Fi channel be showing anime on Monday nights between 11pm and 1 am ET/PT starting June 11. This will obviously expand upon their current lineup of wrestling and Mansquito starting June 11. The release indicates that new lineup will include the premiere of Ghost in the Shell: Solid State Society and will be a venue for new series such as Tokko, Noein. Hopefully these shows won’t be too hacked up considering they are on later in the evening and on The Sci-Fi Channel versus Cartoon Network.

  1. Oh don’t worry, hackage will occur on Ninja Scroll. Oh yes, it will. And I’m in just for Solid State Society. Which reminds me that Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex Season 1 is my pick for the best SF Anime, ever. Which also reminds me, I need to move GitS: SAC Season 2 to the top of my Netflix queue.

  2. Apart from Evangelion, I Do Not Get anime. Actually, I Don’t Get Evangelion either, but I really enjoyed it. (and the occasional episode of Trigun, I guess).

    But hey! :)

  3. Jeez, is it the JP blog assault today? Gamingsignal and SFsignal posts no less! Your “BLOG-FU” is strong JP!

On topic: I have comitted criminal anime injustices. I have not seen Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex and I’m a Ghost in the Shell fan! Bad otaku! No manga! :(
