Wednesday Video: The Machine Stops

E.M. Forster's 1909 story "The Machine Stops" (which I first read in The Science Fiction Hall of Fame, Volume 2) is widely regarding as on the classics of sf. An adaptation of the story was shown on UK television in 1966 as part of the sci-fi anthology TV series Out of the Unknown. Here is that episode:

Thank you for posting this. I just love those old SF shows! Maybe you could
post other episodes from the series from time to time? Or at least provide a
link on where to find it?

I was thinking the same thing, Cheryl. There's only one other Out of the Unknown episodes (based on J.G. Ballard's "Thirteen to Centaurus"), but I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for others.
