Yes, Cates made it a point to kill only the “bad” people, which meant either people he was hired to kill or those that got in his way to complete a job – in this case, the “System pigs” and the Monks. He did not want to needlessly kill, say, the reporter when he was in London.

It did seem a bit out of character when Cates all of the sudden didn’t want to kill someone.. And he’s a killer-for-hire. Did I miss something where he says he only kills bad people for money?

I enjoyed this one too.. I just won’t be posting my review till September.
