- SFF World interviews Marianne de Pierres, author of Dark Space. “My reading influences are unashamedly eclectic and went (chronologically) something like this: Zane Grey, D.H Lawrence, James A. Michener (The Drifters), J-P Satre and Simone de Beauvoir, Carlos Castenada, A.C. Clarke, William Gibson, Vernor Vinge, Octavia Butler.”
- Ben Bova, author of Titan (which recently won the John W. Campbell Award) writes about Campbell and Titan for Naples News. “…what we call science fiction today is pretty much what Campbell created.”
- Orion books has begun posting YouTube videos of sf/f author interviews. [via Forbidden Planet]
- In response to David Louis Edelman’s post about The End of Science Fiction, Lou Anders offers The End of (Future) History and Matthew Jarpe offers Singularity Shmingularity.
