What's next, will "Jay" write about when bloggers who incessantly write about the Trekker geekdom have jumped the shark? Has this blog jumped the shark?

The Star Trek manga that they review is the second of two volumes (I haven't read it yet). The first, while a cool collectible, leaves a much to be desired. While a couple of stories were decent, most felt like the animated Star Trek meets Battle of the Planets (IMHO). However, with Dianne Duane writing a story in the newer volume it's likely better.

Has the use of "jumping the shark" jumped the shark?

The first Trek Manga also featured a spread of the Enterprise surrounded by giant flying Japanese robots aiming space cannons at it. Disconcerting, but cool.

To repost: I think Trekkers jumped the shark when they insisted they weren't Trekkies.

Stargate Atlantis is darn near perfection. Just about the only thing worth watching on the "SciFi" Channel. ![]()
