- John Picacio shows off his way-cool final cover art for the Pyr reprint of Robert Silverberg’s Son of Man. See also: The bigger wraparound version.
- Bob Eggleton has supplied color artwork for Subterranean Press’ publication of Project Moonbase and Others by Robert A. Heinlein.
- Orson Scott Card has announced Ender’s Exile, the next book in the Ender’s series.
- Joseph Mallozzi throws reader questions at F. Paul Wilson (The Keep and the Repairman Jack series).
- Nexus Torch examines the question that Alice Sheldon (writing as James Tiptree, Jr.) asks in her story “The Women Men Don’t See”. Specifically: “How could a woman choose to live among unknown monsters, to say goodbye to her home, her world?“
- Check out the story behind the 1936 John Carter of Mars Animation Project.
- It’s official: The character of Tony Stark (played by Iron Man‘s Robert Downey, Jr.) will have a cameo appearance in The Incredible Hulk.
- Real Science: The Moon’s birth changed the length of days on Earth, sez New Scientist. “The collision that formed our moon may have defined the length of our planet’s day and set the direction in which it spins.”
- Family Guy‘s Seth MacFarlane is voicing the character of Johann Kraus in Hellboy II. I’d pay good money to see Kraus utter a Stewie Griffin line.

Thanks for posting the link to Orson’s novel announcement. The Ender series is the first I’ve ever got hooked onto, so I’m super excited that he’s writing a new one!
