- The official Street Fighter movie blog has posted the first shot of Moon Bloodgood (Journeyman, Daybreak) as Det. Maya Sunee. Not being a Street Fighter gamer, I have no idea who that is. However, since the movie isn't being directed by Uwe Boll, it has a chance to not suck so much.
- Time Immemortal points us to this very interesting article on BeliefNet about the the theology of Battlestar Galactica. I, too, have been wondering just what the heck Moore and the writers are doing with religion on the show. Sadly, Baltar as a Christ-like figure is becoming annoying, but the Cylons' religious civil war does seem to be interesting. Too bad we aren't seeing more of it yet. I'm really keen as to how the religious aspects of the Cylons tie-in with their plan and the whole 'this has happened before' thread.
- Sci Fi Cool has a review of the upcoming Andromeda Strain mini-series on A&E. They make it out to be somewhat like a Sci Fi Original story-wise, which is sad. Though they do say it's better than American Idol, probably because of the lack of a drunk Paula Abdul.
- Trek Web, via The Futon Critic, is reporting that the Sci Fi Channel has acquired the rights to air Star Trek: The Next Generation, starting on June 2nd. Here's your chance to watch it again, for the first time. Or something. Ah, but buried in the report is this gem: Mork and Mindy is also coming to Sci Fi! Sweet!
- Also reported by Trek Web, the Star Trek: The Experience attraction at the Las Vegas Hilton may be closing down at the end of the year. The contract between CBS and the attractions operator, Cedar Fair ends at that point and there is currently no agreement to extend the contract. Apparently attendance has been declining over the past few years. Really, how often can you go do the same thing over and over again? I've never been so I can't comment on how cool (or not) it actually is.
- LOST producers/writers Damon Lindeloff and Carleton Cuse appeared on Jimmy Kimmel (who is a huge fan) Live last Friday. They dropped some nuggets of info and brought a clip from this weeks show. Video below:

Star Trek: The Experience is extremely cool. Of the VR-type things in Vegas, it is by far the coolest. (It's also staggeringly expensive.) It's too bad it's going away. All good things . . .

Definitely! Star Trek: The Experience is very cool. I do wish it wasn't in Las Vegas, though. I think when they built it there, Vegas was making a move toward family-friendly entertainment - not exclusively, but a strong move all the same. That trend has reversed, I think. Vegas is not a place I'd take my family again. ST: The Experience would be great at Disney or Universal or someplace like that, in my opinion.
