The worker bees at www.gutenberg.org have turned up a number of classic sci-fi stories on which the copyright wasn't renewed. Most of them are from Astounding Science Fiction. I've cherry picked some of the short stories and done readings of them. They are posted on the Internet Archive - www.archive.org . Just search Roy Trumbull to turn them up.
