We've mentioned Sillof's steampunk themed Star Wars creations before, and know he's posted his Return of the Jedi figures. Check out the way cooler than Lucas' Luke Skywalker over there on the right. He's got a lot more for you to look at, ones of note: Princess Leia, Bike Scout and Emperor Palpatine. And wow, look at Admiral "It's a trap!" Ackbar! Sweet.
For some reason, the combination of steampunk and Star Wars just seems to go together. Maybe it's the Victorian aesthetic applied to the technology that is just really interesting. Is there anyone else out there who thinks a Steampunk Star Wars would be an awesome spectacle to watch?
It certainly would put any of the prequel movies to shame and it would be unlike anything else on film...

Steampunk Star Wars? I'm there.
I was just saying to my husband today that it's a shame Hollywood hasn't truly jumped on the steampunk bandwagon. I think expense is the main obstacle. The budget would have to be north of like, 3 gazillion dollars. Then there's telling the right story. I mean, if they got LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENTLEMEN wrong, who knows what else might happen. But one can hope.
