SF Signal Featured on Starship Sofa
Tony Smith from the entertaining Starship Sofa podcast has given me the opportunity to “sit on the couch”. The latest episode has just been posted and has my contribution. In case you ever wanted to know what I sound like, head on over and give a listen to my nasally, breathing-into-the-microphone, obviously-reading-from-notes piece about SF Signal’s origins and get a backstage peek at the Mind Meld posts and how SF Tidbits evolved.
Here’s the full table of contents for this episode because, you know, it’s more than just me:

I’m a huge fan of self deprecation but I think you’ve gone a bit too far. Sounded fine to me and the content was all good stuff.
Nice job!!
Dean,
You know for John there is no such thing as ‘too far’!
Dean and Scott, thanks for the kind words. (Your $10 checks are in the mail.)
Dean, I like to think of the self-deprecation as a way of compensating for ego inflation. One balances the other and if I get it just right, I don’t need to buy a new hat.
JP, that’s what she said.
