As for sex in the SF narrative…where would I have been if it were not for Robert Silverberg’s use of sex in the narrative of books like Tower of Glass and The World Inside? Purchasing Playboy was not an option; and since my parent’s always gave me a pile of used SFBC volumes including the Silverbergs…
