Well, even Rod Serling had an occasional off day. And you never know what he submitted vs. what was filmed (look for “Cordwainer Bird” as a reference to another screenwriter).
For real SF time-traveling cheese, look for a movie called (oddly enough) The Time Travelers (which “inspired” Allen’s Time Tunnel, apparently). Great flick with time paradoxes, cheesy to excellent SFX, and even an appearance by Mr. Science Fiction himself, Forrest J. Ackerman.
