Walter H. Hunt has discovered this animated short on YouTube: Skywhales, a 1983 short film depicting a fictional society of alien creatures dwelling in the atmosphere of a gas giant.

[Note: Skywhales is not to be confused with The Godwhale by T.J. Bass.]
