TRAILER: Cthulhu, The Movie + ‘Rare’ H.P. Lovecraft Video Interview

Now enjoying limited release: Cthulhu – The Movie!

As a promotion for the film, the filmmakers distributed this “rare” (or as we say these days…”fake”) clip of H.P. Lovecraft being interviews:

I like this bit: “”One cannot make a film of a book. The forms have distictly different dimensions. I have no expectations that any of the stories I have written will be adapted for the movies in my lifetime. Perhaps, one day, when the world is very different, in the distant future…”

  1. I liked the 2005 “silent movie” version. There’s also a short film based on “The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath” that I picked up (but haven’t watched yet).

    I don’t recall any nudity or sexuality in the original tales though!
