Tube Bits for 12/17/2008
  • American fans of the BBC version of Life on Mars received some good news yesterday: the follow-on series to LoM, Ashes to Ashes will be coming to BBC America in March! Ashes takes place during the 80's, but many of the regulars from Life, including Gene Hunt, are also regulars here. I've Ashes and while it's not quite as good as Life, it's still worth watching.
  • There are several connections between Heroes and the Star Trek franchise. Now you can add one more: Michael Dorn, Lt. Worf from TNG, will appear in the 'Fugitives' chapter starting in February. Sorry, still not enough to entice me back.
  • Jane Espensen says that the new Galactica webisodes, while not necessary to watch, will bring more understanding to the actions Lt. Gaeta takes during the last half of season 4. Webisode 2 has been posted, and here it is:
  • And for those of you, like me, who can't wait for January to get here, ABC has released a new clip from Season 5 of LOST (and one of the things I really like about the show, the music):
