So I'm trolling around my RSS feeds while I wait for Windows 2008 to install BitLocker encryption on my hard drive when I stumble over this article on Sci Fi Wire about a new 'Ray Gun' pen from ACME Writing Tools. Yes, ACME (Win #1).

As you can see, this pen is all kinds of awesome, especially when clipped into its 'gun sight shaped clip'. At $130 a pop, I'd expect something a bit higher-end than a retractable roller ball tip, but then again I know nothing about pens. Still, the design of this pen is outstanding and I'd just as much fun running around the office with it and shouting 'PEW PEW!' at my co-workers (Win #2). If only I could convince the spousal unit that $130 is a good deal for a ray gun pen.

On the bright side, I have until the middle of this month to convince her. Hmm, maybe something around Feb. 14th or so....
