I dreamt about Harlan Ellison just a few days ago. I wonder if this is an omen, all these Ellison Dreams?
I dreamt he was over for dinner at my apartment, along with lots of other people, and he eviscerated someone I don't care much for in my living room, and then we retreated to my library where he complained that no one had great libraries anymore. And I was showing him all this various books and saying "Look! See? It's a volume of Guy de Maussepant stories, from 1886. That's good," and he grudgingly admitted it, after I showed him dozens of books that he approved of.
...AND THEN THE CAGE CAME DOWN AND THE SPIDERS CAME OUT...!
(wait, that may have been a different dream)
