I just finished The Unpleasant Profession of Jonathan Hoag and while it was enjoyable, I wonder if it's really worth adapting. It has some pretty great elements to it, but I doubt those will be enough for audiences to forget they've seen this theme countless times in recent memory, including in Proyas's own work.
