Just ordered the book from Amazon. I look forward to checking out all these authors...there are many I have never read. David Ball is a favorite and his books never disappoint. I also enjoy the work of Cecelia Holland, GRRM and Joe Haldeman. I loved the first book from Diana Gabaldon, but lost interest in her many follow ups.

I have mixed feelings about this. I love Waldrop, Silverberg, Haldeman, Martin, Lansdale,Block,Beagle and Dozois. But Gabaldon and Vaughn are too chick lit. And I have not liked anything by Rollins or Weber.

The fact that you list the contents of upcoming anthologies is one of favourite reasons for checking out this site. Among others. This particular anthology has a good half dozen or so authors that I would seriously consider buying this anthology for:Joe Haldeman, Robert Silverberg, Peter Beagle, Howard Waldrop and Cecelia Holland among them.
