Free Comic Book Day 2009: May 2nd

The annual Free Comic Book Day is coming on Saturday, May 2nd 2009. It's when participating comic book shops across North America and around the world give away comic books absolutely free to anyone who comes into their stores. (Details provided by each retailer.)

The selection of comics includes those from Gold sponsors (including Avengers, Blackest Night (Green Lantern), Disney/Pixar's Cars, Resurrection, and Star Wars: The Clone Wars) and silver sponsors (including Aliens/Predator, Atomic Robo And Friends, Attack Of The Alterna-Zombies!, Fist Of Justice, Warhammer Fantasy, William Shatner Present, and Wolverine: Origin Og An X-Man).

Stop by a store near you! Wolverine says so!

To those who will be in Los Angeles on Free Comic Book Day, William Shatner and I will be doing a signing of the William Shatner Presents book which includes  a 12-page original story prologue to the upcoming Tek War series and sneak previews of the other three books that will start showing up in comic book stores over the summer.

The signing will be at Golden Apple Comics from 1-3pm on May 2.

And who am I? I am writing the TekWar series. I certainlyhope you will enjoy our darker grittier take on the novel series.

Hope to see you in LA

Scott
