- Call me silly, but I’m still liking Comedy Central’s Krod Mandoon. (Sure, the humor is crass, as evidenced by this over-the-top, NSFW sweet lovemaking clip…but it’s still entertaining.) Reminder: Tonight is the season finale. (Oh, and also: season finale? After only six episodes? Today’s TV suits have it easy!)
- Interviews and Profiles:
- @USA Today: Charlaine Harris (Dead and Gone).
- @Vampires, Witches, and Geeks podcast-interviews Tate Hallaway (Dead if I Do).
- David Crumm of ReadtheSpirit.com interviews Gabriel McKee, author of The Gospel According to Science Fiction, about Spirituality of Star Trek.
- Free Fiction [courtesy of QuasarDragon]:
- The latest Aphelion is out with fiction by T. Richard Williams, Jon Wesick, Joel Realubit, Roderick D. Turner, Terry Larson, E. S. Strout, Ed Barol, Joseph T. Christopher, Mary Kiorden Hayden, Tyler Hardin, Philip Roberts, Ken Kraus, and Dan Edelman.
- Kat and Mouse, Part Eighteen of “Easy Money” by Abner Senires.
- Audio Fiction:
- @Escape Pod: “Get Me to the Job on Time” by Ian Randal Strock, read by Elie Hirschman.
- @PodCastle: “The Cambist and Lord Iron” by Daniel Abraham, read by Wilson Fowlie.
- @StarShipSofa: “Aerophilia” by Tobias Buckell and “When Thorns Are The Tips Of Trees” by Jason Sanford.
- Graphic Fiction:
- @Diversions of the Groovy Kind: “Nightfall.“
- @The Horrors of It All: “The Monstrous Plant.”

Article title should be “SF Tidbits for 5/7/09″.
Like Kröd Mändoon, Better Off Ted just finished its “season” after only 7 episodes.
Thanks, OldMiser. Ah, the perils of late-night bogging…
