The 1978 Mars landing conspiracy flick Capricorn One is being remade.
The original cast list is the stuff that retroactively blows my mind: Elliott Gould, James Brolin, Brenda Vaccaro, Sam Waterston, O.J. Simpson, Hal Holbrook, Karen Black, Telly Savalas, David Huddleston, David Doyle, and Lee Bryant.

Mars landing? It has been a long time but I was thinking it was about the Moon landing.
You know, I though so, too. But my fuzzy memory being what it is — that’d be fuzzy — I looked it up and it was a Mars mission that was planned and staged in the film. Perhaps like me, you are cross-remembering the film’s parallels with the Mon landing conspiracy theory.
