- Day One is a new post-apocalypse series from NBC starting in the fall season. It tells the story of a group of survivors of an unspecified event that destroys the world's infrastructure. It has a Jericho vibe and we all know how that turned out. Then again, you can never have enough post-apocalypse shows on TV. You can see a behind the scenes video here as well as visit the official site for more info.
- Everyone's favorite pilot from Firefly, Alan Tudyk, is starring in the new V remake. He says he's been a fan of V since it first aired, and the new one is 'kind of everything you remember'. I remember being caught up in the mini-series. The actual series not so much.
- Poor Jasika Nicole. Her character Astrid Farnsworth on Fringe is basically just a nurse maid for Walter Bishop. However, the writers have promised to explore her character's backstory, but probably not this season. That's good news, otherwise I'd have to question why her character is even on the show.
- So it's good news that Fringe has indeed been renewed for a second season. I think that's a good thing. I'm getting into the show a bit more, even if some of the episodes are kinda lame. I'm really in it for the interdimensional war that is being hinted at. More of that!
- John Cho, who plays Hikaru Sulu in a little movie you may have heard of, will be starring the TV adaptation of Robert J. Sawyer's Flashforward. In this interview, Cho explains why he decided to sign on to Flashforward. Let's hope they don't destroy a good idea.
- Milo Ventimiglia has a new venture with Agility Studios, which he will star in and co-produce, called Ultradome. This web-based series will take fanboy arguments and settle them in SFX laden glory. Think Kirk vs. Picard (totally Kirk), but played from a pop-culture, for laughs position. The first episode will pit Star Wars vs. The Lord of the Rings.

- J.J. Abrams appeared on Colbert's show the other night to talk about Trek and a tiny bit about Fringe:
