Here’s a classic clip from The Late Show with David Letterman in which Jay Leno does his Star Trek shtick. Bonus points to Leno for the Hasselhoff zinger.
(Much cooler would have been to do this last week — coinciding with Leno’s last Tonight Show. What can I say…my timeliness is of the same quality as the above video.)

This brings back great memories, Leno and Letterman worked so well together, it’s disappointing that they became such intense rivals.
In 1986 one of my letters was read on Letterman. That same episode Chris Elliot came on wearing a fake chin and did an outstanding Leno impersonation.
