- Interviews & Profiles:
- Black Library posts the second video from this year’s Black Library Live event held in Nottingham, this time featuring an interview with Dan Abnett and Horus Heresy artist, Neil Roberts.
- Adventures in SciFi Publishing returns with podcast interview with Greg Van Eekhout, author of Norse Code.
- Over at Cult Pop, Jim Hall interviews Elmore Leonard.
- As part of the “Tweet the Author” discussion, Brandon Sanderson (Warbreaker) will be chatting/tweeting live on Twitter Wednesday, July 8th, from 1-2 PM CST to answer questions and chat with fans. Sanderson is also answering questions July 8-10th on the B&N Cook Club forum.
- Locus Online has the scoop on the Endeavour Award Finalists.
- Chris Roberson reports Holly Black and Ellen Kushner will be editing a revival of the Terri Windling’s Borderland urban fantasy shared world anthology series. Contributors inlcude returning authors Emma Bull, Charles de Lint and Will Shetterly as well as “newcomers” Cassandra Clare, Cory Doctorow, Kelly Link and more. Publication is scheduled for Summer 2011.

- Planet Stories looks at James Blish’s Star Trek adaptations: “I’m not sure if Blish felt a special affinity for Trek, or if adapting the show was just a job. But for a fans stuck is pre-internet isolation, these books were crucial.”
