Yes indeed, congrats to the winners!  I'm sure the debate will rage on privately, if not publicly, about the relative merits of the awards.  I personally am happy that Gaiman won for The Graveyard Book because I think the book itself is a great story, and I'm also happy for Ted Chiang.  I read Exhalation earlier in the year in Eclipse Two and was very impressed.  One of the best stories in the anthology.

All of those are good picks. I have to say, as happy as I am for Mr. Gaimen, my favorite novel was Little Brother by Cory Doctorow. Also, even though I'm a huge fan of Ted Chiang I have yet to read Exhalation. Something to look forward too I guess.
