Now that you mention it, I notice a considerable lack of women looking over their shoulder, a pose that pervades today's U.S. bookshelves...

Wow, I would have a hard time picking the cover artist.  Tredowski's Interzone covers were the bomb, and I think Desolation Road is Martiniere's best work to date, and I think most of what he does is fantastic.

I'm pretty sure the "women looking over their shoulder" covers aren't winning any American awards either, despite their prevalence in the marketplace.  At least, I hope not.
