[GUEST POST] Lavie Tidhar Asks 'What Do We Talk About When We Talk About Steampunk?' »
Trailer: Kick-Ass (Hit Girl Oriented) [NSFW]

First of all, any movie title Kick-Ass must have something going for it. Here's the synopsis:

Dave Lizewski is an unnoticed high school student and comic book fan who one day decides to become a super-hero, even though he has no powers, training or meaningful reason to do so.
Kick-Ass is based on the comic of the same name and looks to be a violent, over the top riot. Hit Girl is one of the non-superhero superheros Kick Ass teams up with. Check out her work below and if extremely foul language and excessive violence all from an apparent 12 year old offend you, don't watch. The rest of us can enjoy the mayhem set to a rockin' version of The Banana Splits theme song.

That rockin version of the Banana Splits theme is, of course, by The Dickies.

And yup, Chloe Moretz was 12 when she made this, C-words and all. That'll get them some publicity, to say the least.

I realize that it's a little sad that I'm so amused by foul-mouthed wirefu pistolera tweens, but I think Nic Cage is a wierdness multiplier whenever he's deployed. That's my excuse anyway.

A 12 year old girl using the c-word? Oh boy, people will be piling all over this one. Although, as a famous comedian once said, there are no bad words, just bad intentions.

I am terribly sorry, but this looks utterly idiotic
