The latest episode of Starship Sofa includes the results of the 2010 Sofanaut Awards:
- Best Main Fiction: “Exhalation” by Ted Chiang (ep #66)
- Best Flash & Short Fiction: “Then, Just a Dream” by Lawerence Santoro (ep #84)
- Best Poetry or Song Contributor: Neil Gaiman
- Best Narrator: (Tie) Lawrence Santoro and Spider Robinson
- Best Fact Article Contributor: Jim Campanella (Science News)
- Best Artwork: StarShipSofa Stories Volume 1 – Skeet
Also noteworthy, Starship Sofa host Tony C. Smith sends along this update of the Spider and Jeanne Robinson Fundraiser:
I also have the final amount that StartShipSofa and the SF community at large raised in our Spider and Jeanne Robinson Fundraiser….. the total amount was £3,350 or $5,353. Not bad:0) I’ve sent over the money and the Robinsons’ are….. in Spider’s words: “First of all, WOW. I’m speechless. So is Jeanne, sitting beside me as I type. There are no words….except THANKS. Big ones. To you and Neil and John and everyone.”
