Minority Report — based on the Philip K. Dick short story and starring Tom Cruise, Colin Farrell, Samantha Morton, and Max von Sydow — is one of my favorite films…

I think it was last year that I read the short story during my lunch break and then went home and watched the film that night. It was a really fun experience. I enjoyed the story as well as the film, and although it was done a few years ago now I think the effects in the film stand up really well so far.
Woo Hoo!! Thanks.
Gods, I love this movie. Though the vehicles are a bit “far-fetched” (i.e., they don’t quite fit in with the other technological innovations), the tech in this film quite literally looks like what we’ll be working with in another ten years (if that).
A 4K (Bladerunner style) remaster is coming to Blu-ray in April. Can’t wait.
@Derek: Spielberg brought in futurist experts (or whatever you call ‘em) to provide realistic examples of future tech. We already have paper display technology, how soon before we *do* see cereal box ads?
How soon before we get AdBlock for those cereal box ads?
