What has a space ninja and is made of awesome? Azureus Rising. Billed as a proof of concept project for a feature film trilogy, in which case I say: Sweet Jeebus, I can’t wait to see a “final” version. Kudos to director David Weinstein and the talented crew behind this.
Now watch:

Awesome. Completely and totally awesome.
Looked like a Video game trailer.
Sorry, this looks like crap. As proof of concept it’s really weak. What is the narrative here? What’s at stake? Who is this character? The visuals are all borrowed, we’ve seen them a million times before. The action is pointless & void of emotion and even the most basic storytelling technique. Slice out any action sequence from any Star Wars movie and you’ll be able to grasp what the basic story is. Not so here. It’s nothing more than a sequence of generic “cool” looking poses and explosions. Absolute waste of time garbage. Sorry, this interests me not one bit.
For no reason I can fathom, the video controls on this page aren’t working properly in Firefox, even though other video controls for YouTube, etc. work fine.
I’m using Firefox and it’s working for me.
I have the same problem. I have to reload the page to play embedded youtube videos.
As for the visual alone, looks good, but the guy is simply to omnipotent to attract my interest for even short the duration of this clip. Next time, give the character some hard time and invest on the story. Optimally, visuals are there only to support the story.
