Sad news…
BBC is reporting that Redwall series author Brian Jacques has passed away due from a heart attack at the age of 71.

Very sad indeed. He was a pivotal author for me in my youth.
Sad day. I LOVED the Redwall series in middle school. I read Martin the Warrior first and was hooked. I eventually stopped reading them, but I think I’ll give it another go in honor of Mr. Jacques.
