Dear Mr. Keith (antares)

Thank you for kindly pointing out the errors in my blog. This is what happens when one spends years writing and editing a novel and then speeds off twelve blog articles for reviews in a week. Your note will ensure that I shall employ my editor to vet things in the future.

Regarding the 1984 reference, I mention it as it still remains the grandaddy of so much dystopian writing that came after it. Regarding Brave New World, I actually had in mind Lord of the Flies, but typed the wrong title. (my bad)

Never-the-less, the point is that, opposed to historical and contemporary fiction, that mostly mirrors society, I believe science fiction and futurism does allow a writer to bring the reader into an entertaining discussion about making the future a better place.

Thanking you again for your comments,

Cheers,
