I just purchased this from Amazon a week ago. Thanks B&N! Of course, I don’t have a Nook so I couldn’t read it ever for free. Then again, there is a Nook App so I CAN read it on my iPod. In any event, don’t look at the overall 2 star rating on B&N. A lot of that is people rating it low because it’s SF and that’s ‘not their genre’ and not because of the story itself.
If you’re looking for something a bit different for you SF fix, God’s War fits the bill, and if that bill is $0, you’d be crazy not to pick this up.
I grabbed this about 10 seconds after the notice came across my e-mail. It’s been on my “to read” list since it came out. I’m looking forward to digging into it soon, and then will likely buy the paper to support the author.
