As great as the story is, there are some serious questions about its veracity. For example, in this TrekBBS thread, people who attended cons in the ’70s report that her original version of the story was purely hypothetical — she was considering leaving the show and asked herself, “What would Martin Luther King, Jr. do?” Then it morphed into a version where she was talking to MLK on the phone and he asked her to stay (this is the version I remember first hearing), and now we have the incident taking place face to face.
I hate very much any embedded video that automatically plays when the page loads.
Me too! It seems to be random. Does not happen to me all the time and I see nothing in the HTML to control it. Right now, I cannot get it to happen Internet Explorer, FireFox, nor Chrome.
