What about Robert Mayer’s 1977 book Superfolks? I believe it was one of the inspirations for Alan Moore’s Watchmen.
Anything Matthew Hughes and I’m in.
I also somewhat enjoyed Soon I will Be Invincible which was told from the villain’s perspective.
I really liked Masked and highly recommend it – haven’t read the others.
