Uh, John, I’m pretty sure this is the TOC for the November issue, not October.
So it is! I hate when that happens. Fixed. Thanks, Jamie.
I love Analog, and look forward to it every month. But those Andrea Cort stories by Adam Troy-Castro just don’t do it for me. I read a novel in the setting, “Emissaries of the Dead,” for a book club and didn’t enjoy it at all. Too…angsty, I guess? The protagonist feels like she’s from a generic paranormal romance fanfic, not SF.
