Loved the feel of the story, I agree that some of the characters felt a bit awkward at times. Keeping the whole space opera story within our solar system was surprisingly a good idea. What I liked most is it didn't try to be too clever, too scientific, or too literary. It went straight for entertaining space opera. Even though I read this as an ebook, the cover art made me stop and take notice of it. So, yeah to cover art.

Yeah, this is pretty much spot-on with my impressions of the book as well.
It was rather nice to see the author to actually use the limited "our solar system" environment so well - usually space operas set in solar system are either very crippled by the setting, or concerned with virtual mindscapes; to have it actually being used as the good old space and still retain the vastness of it.. Corey did a great job.

Can't wait for the second book's release.
