Here, Batman enemies, the Joker and the Penguin, have devised a seemingly diabolical trap for an surprising foe. But can you see the flaw in their plan?
The problem is this: as Scooby eats the Scooby snacks, the amount of weight on that side of the scale does not change. Thus Shaggy and the gang are never in any real danger. I would have expected Velma to have realized this. Shame on you, Velma Dinkley!

Blame low budget animation for not making it apparent that Scooby is actually hanging behind and seperate from the tray containing the Scooby snacks.
I mean… super-villains aren’t that stupid.
