Yeah, the Batman/Catwoman dance is an old, old trope, but it’s certainly front and centre here … although, as soon as I typed that, I realised that it’s actually quite important – to my enjoyment of the comic, at least – that it’s not treated as the most important thing about Catwoman (despite that high profile scene early on). It’s a significant element in her status quo, but not really any more so than a lot of other stuff she’s got going on. It’s good, from both a character and a narrative point of view, that they didn’t make it the central pillar on which to balance the entire series. Hopefully they’ll keep it that way.

This sounds pretty good, I think I’ll order it. Though it had hints previously, it seems to me that it was in the Hush storyline that Batman and Catwoman really began a romance. That one, beautifully drawn by Bruce Lee, is on my shelves and it’s probably time I re-read it. Thanks for this review!
