The SF Signal Podcast (Episode 146): An Interview with Author Jean Johnson
In episode 146 of the SF Signal Podcast, Patrick Hester sits down to chat with Jean Johnson, author of the new Military SciFi Novel An Officer’s Duty out from Ace.
Jean Johnson lives in the Pacific Northwest, somewhere north of Seattle, in a house with zone heating, decent plumbing, internet access and a middle-aged cat. Alas, she is a very long ways from getting her own castle–but a lady can always dream, right? She is still writing so much that she has little time for anything beyond research reading, but promises to produce books that are worth reading.
Currently, her hair is naturally light brown (though this is subject to change), her eyes are grayish-green, and her favorite colors are opalescent, wood, and clear. She also has a Ph.D. in Religions, and is the great-niece of the late Nunnally Johnson, award-winning screenwriter, director, and producer. (Alas, while Jean probably could write a screenplay to save her life, she’d still be kneecapped at the very least; screenwriting is one skillset she has not mastered, and probably never will.)
…But don’t worry, she’s mostly harmless!
