Sorry I'm just now seeing this! I understand your complaint, trust me I do. I have a strong desire to own a lot of the Black Library collector's items. I paid $50 for ADB's Word Bearers novella. It's not cheap. At the same time though, there was a cheaper option in the eBook format ($12). Granted, that's not the same as owning a legit copy but this is a special edition hardcover. I'm honestly surprised they didn't run it for $50. And unless I'm mistaken this was advertised as a novella so I don't think there was any dishonesty. My real complaint is that I want a full length story from Smillie! C'mon and give this man a book series deal already!

I agree for the most part with your review. My main problem with the story is how short it was. I paid $20US for the book. I will pretty much buy anything Flesh Tearer on sight. At the end of the day however, I do not feel what I got was worth the money. This is something I am not used to feeling when it comes to Black Library products. This really felt like a tease of a forth coming novel. Yes, I would be excited about that too, except I still paid $20 for something that should have been $5.
