That time is quintessential for what Christmas is to them.

Personally, I thought the take-off on THE LION, THE WITCH, AND THE WARDROBE set during WWII was the best Christmas special.

The killer snowmen don’t grab me, but, at least, they aren’t a variation of the plastic Father Christmas killer robots in a few of the earlier NuWho.
