They are all bad. I really dislike the Crossing. 19 is freaky and nothing I would pick up. If I must pick one, it would be the Vortex but I wish the woman was appearing to be naked.

Easy one this week: Revolution 19 all the way. It is a minimalist cover that uses color sparingly but does so in a way that is eye-catching, pardon the pun. One of the few times I’ve seen text cover an image so fully where I actually like it and feel that it works.

Revolution 19, all the way.

The Crossing looks like they’re trying to cut off the blood in their hands with that string. Plus, it feels like a rip-off of Code Name Verity to me.

Vortex is a good cover as well but not as eye-catching as Revolution 19. Normally, I’m not a fan of those “young beautiful girl’s face on the cover” but in this case, it works for me.

The Crossing doesn’t do much of anything for me, and Vortex…it’s too symmetrical. But I love Revolution 19. It’s great design composition, great creepy color scheme, and the eye really stands out.

Revolution 19 in my opinion is the best of these. The crossing is kind of… flat. And don’t get me started on The Vortex… That and Rev 19 catches the eye the best.

Revolution 19 is the winner for sure. It has all the earmarks of a good piece of art. The Crossing is just a enhanced photo and Vortex looks like a Dr. Who DVD cover. That’s not a bad thing… just a little cheesy.

I’d have to say Revolution 19. The cover over all is the most eye catching and the eye draws you in. The Crossing seems a bit generic, and, as for The Vortex, I hate when a fiction book’s cover uses photographs of people no matter how imaginatively they think they’re using them.

I vote for the cover for Vortex. It catches the eye and gives the reader a glimpse of what to expect inside.
