I know Johnston wrote the comic book. I’m not sure what his involvement is in the novels. This is probably just an oversight.

FYI…I am trying to verify with Tor if this is the final cover. I’m thinking that, if anything, it may be the final art but not the final text since one of the co-author’s names is missing.

I could see that too, had not the same guy written the last book (a prequel to this one) with Card AND had his name included on the front cover (in smaller letters). Maybe the letters are REALLY small this time.

Yeah, I could see that. Frankly, however — and no, there’s no way to say this without criticizing OSC — but you’d think the known author might have some leverage with the publishers and insist the other guy got his due as a co-author. It seems like the right thing to do. Bear in mind, I obviously don’t know the whole story, but still…

Probably because the o.s.card name is a franchise (in terms of being well-known), whereas the other guy is an unknown quantity. it is likely that publishers wanted to maximize potential sales by pimping (there really is no other term for this, imo) the more famous author’s name.

I never read any of Ender’s books after Game. They didn’t interest me all that much. But I LOVE Bean’s half of the story.
