Say what you will about about their cover art, but Baen is the best publisher for electronic content. They were the first to really explore it and they know how to use their internet presence to create interest in their authors. They also provide some of the best rates for authors, especially for their digital editions.

Wen Spencer has enough experience with publishers to know which one is best for her. Since all of her new material is published by Baen you can see her decision.

Synopsis sounds interesting, the cover is your usual horrible Baen and makes me wish this would come out from some other publisher - as I have to assume, based on the synopsis, that the novel is about more than manga characters killing raccoons(!) with swords. The cover - as most Baen covers do - sends the message "Pulp cr*p". A change of publisher might be in order for the author.
