Have you ever listened to the Tolkien Professor podcast? I mention this because, coincidentally, he talks about world-building and Tolkien&#039;s goals in that in some of the early episodes (including what I am listening to lately).

I think every author and every work of fiction has to navigate how much &quot;world building&quot; to do. I am not sure, personally, there can be too much, as long as the other roots of the fiction are well watered.]]></description>
