I've been reading GGK since The Summer Tree, and to me he is the finest author. Not just the finest fantasy author, but the finest author full stop.

Even when I couldn't afford anything else, I've bought GGK in hardback - since The Darkest Road.

Favourites are Tigana, Ysabel and Sailing to Sarantium (I'm so looking forward to going to Istanbul myself!)

Kristin, you have done it again - interviewed one of my favorite authors.

My first Kay was A Song for Arbonne, I remember a friend of mine let me borrow his copy when I was 18 or 19, and I fell in love with the book, with everything about it. And the guy who lent it to me? I ended up marrying him.

That means Guy Gavriel Kay is in part responsible for my happy marriage!
