I really enjoyed The Assassin’s Curse and The Witch’s Betrayal so I can’t wait to start The Mad Scientist’s Daughter. I haven’t read a lot of robot stories before so this will be an exciting change. Thanks for this awesome interview.

I liked that aspect of the story too. It was unexpected given how much I associated it with other robot stories where the crux of the story is their move towards humanity. And I like that very much, but the other side of the equation was an interesting variation on the theme.

I like the sound of The Mad Scientist’s Daughter. The part where the author states that the robot character realizes it doesn’t want to be human interests me. So many times you read essentially the Pinochio story line as applied to robots. Data from ST:NG comes to my mind. Also I’m a sucker for love stories.

Thanks for the interview. Of course now my tall TBR pile just go one book taller. sigh… That’s a good sigh of course but a sigh none the less.
